PMDG came back from that statement, in a sort of way, but has yet to fully commit to any tangible efforts for Prepar3D at this time.

PMDG itself stated that anything else than MSFS did not have their focus or any effort behind it, which was not very well received by everyone in the community. Something that many have been wondering about is what the future of PMDG’s development for Prepar3D holds. Development of this Flight Tablet is ongoing and Randazzo hopes to be able to share previews soon. PMDG is working together with Navigraph to integrate Simbrief, as well as Navigraph’s Charts. The Flight Tablet will feature EFB functionality, but will also go beyond that bringing with it features that a traditional EFB can’t. However, the testing on the LNAV update is going well.Īnother statement was made regarding the PMDG Flight Tablet for the 737 for MSFS. As the 737-600 has been the testbed for PMDG’s new Lateral Flight Path Model update, the release date of this add-on is slowly sliding further into the future. Randazzo also made a brief statement regarding the development of PMDG’s upcoming Boeing 737-600. The update is available right now from PMDG’s Operations Center.

The rudder will now give you around 7 degrees of steering, whereas the tiller will provide a far wider range of steering inputs “to the full range of the airplane’s capabilities”. Further improvements have been made to differentiate between pedal and tiller input for those users that have both controls set up. It should integrate the 737 more closely into MSFS, and it will require people that use a tiller input assignment to update their controls slightly. The update also includes a new ground steering model for the plane. The changes are mostly small and relate to details, according to Robert Randazzo, who shared the announcement. The update, going by version, fixes several issues and bugs that have been found by the team or reported by members of the community. PMDG has issued an update for their Boeing 737-700 for MSFS.
